Evidence is accumulating that sperm health is very important for successful egg fertilisation and a healthy pregnancy — including reduced risk of miscarriage or pregnancy loss.
In addition, some research suggests that better sperm quality is tied to a longer, healthier life! This means that having high-quality sperm — or improving your sperm quality — cannot only improve fertility and chances of having a baby but also improve chances of living a long life to be with that child.
Men like me will never have to take IVF medications or carry a baby or experience morning sickness or give birth or breastfeed.
One-way men can help share some of the burden is to live and eat healthily so their overall fertility — and overall sperm quality — can be good.
