Gold Standard Curcumin is Longvida® Optimized Curcumin®, a patented Solid Lipid Curcumin Particle (SLCP) with 285x greater bioavailability than standard curcumin, formulated by Dr. Conor Kerley with 13 essential micronutrients for:

Turmeric has been used medicinally for thousands of years. But modern science shows that turmeric and its active components, the curcuminoids, are very poorly absorbed and rapidly broken down into inactive forms.
Gold Standard Curcumin uses patent-protected, clinically documented Solid Lipid Curcumin Particle technology. The lipid layer protects curcumin through the stomach and carries it into the body through the lymphatic system, bypassing the liver, so what arrives is free-form curcumin, the active form. Curcumin can interact with some medicines, including blood thinners. If you take any medication, check with your doctor or pharmacist before starting.
Black pepper extract (piperine) is added to ordinary curcumin to force absorption. Longvida® is a solid lipid curcumin particle that is absorbed on its own, so it is not needed.

Yes, it is designed to sit alongside the rest of the range. If you take several products, keep an eye on your total vitamin D across them.
Yes. The capsule is plant-based, the vitamin D3 is a vegan form, and there are no animal-derived ingredients.
Check with your doctor or midwife first. Curcumin at supplement doses has not been studied enough in pregnancy for us to say yes.
