A word about iron
Fertility Phix does NOT contain any iron. This is because too much iron causes oxidative stress which causes fertility issues! I, Dr. Conor Kerley, do not recommend iron supplements or supplements containing iron unless you have a documented iron issue or have been individually advised by a healthcare profession e.g. dietitian or gynaecologist.
If you have heavy menstrual period blood loss or any symptoms of low iron such as :
- fatigue,
- pale skin,
- shortness of breath,
- dizziness,
- fast heartbeat
It is worth getting a blood test for 'iron studies' to get your iron and ferritin levels tested. A healthcare professional should analyse your individual results but in general a ferritin of at least 50 µg/L is advisable.
